PVDF Membrane

PVDF-membrane-cbt.jpg

Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) is able to withstand solutions of pH 2-10, and it has good resistance to organic solvents, to corrosion, oxidation and heat resistance, commonly used in sterilization of biological products.

Cobetter's polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) membranes are made from hydrophilic PVDF membranes, which have a very low protein-binding. The advantages of protein binding, low leachable and broad chemical compatibility make it particularly suitable for use in culture media, biological products and sterile vaccines filtration. In addition, Cobetter has hydrophobic PVDF membranes are gamma irradiated

· Meet ATCC*19146) Retention Test.  107cfu/ cm2 Brevundimonas diminuta (ATCC*19146)

· Each cartridge is integrity tested before delivery to ensure sterilization effect

· "Non-fiber releasing" as defined by FDA 21 CFR 210.3(b)(6) Filter standards

· In-line steam sterilizable at 135 °C for 30 min, 150 cycles .

· Autoclavable at 130 °C for 30 min, cumulative 400 cycles.

· Very low protein adsorption properties

· Low precipitation

· Hydrophilic PVDF is suitable for use in culture media, biological reagents, vaccine filtration

· Hydrophobic gamma irradiation resistant
