On November 10^th, Zhu Cuicui who is the director of Our Validation Center, donated HSCs (hemapoietic stems cells) to a very sick individual in Chongqing which is over 1600km away from Hangzhou.

Ms. Zhu is a very dedicated and experienced employee who has worked with more than 400 domestic pharmaceutical companies throughout her career.  When she received the call that she was a match, she didn’t hesitate to say yes.  In order to prepare for the procedure, Ms. Zhu was injected twice a day with a HSCS mobilizing agent, which brought on soreness, pain, and fatigue without missing work.

The procedure was a great success and when asked for her thoughts and reasoning.  Ms. Zhu stated: “It is not something important to me, but I did to help someone else.  I feel happy to know that they are still alive and with their family.”
